Last night we had the first meeting of representatives of the teams that have been invited to the National Games. We discussed the cost, estimated at $2,000 per person, travel logistics and fundraising ideas. The current thinking is to try to leave for Hawaii on Friday, July 4, 2008 and return on Monday, July 14, 2008. Team coordinator Kate Wall will be contacting all of the parents to set up a meeting so that we can firm up the roster and begin to raise money and make travel and other plans.

The meeting was great last night. FUNDRAISING is going to be crucial, so we need to get going ASAP on that front. The girls already suggested a tag sale, which would be fun and there are other ideas for all the teams to do together. We will also fundraise as a team separate fromthe other teams. This is going to be a lot of fun and a lot of work! The more people who work, the more fun it will be and the faster it will get done. GO Shooting Stars!!!! Go Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow AYSO!!!!
hi jordan! the blog is definitely easy to get into and all that, and i like all the stuff on the sides. i think it will be really useful for hawaii since e-mails can get kind of cluttered and whatnot, so having all the information in one place will be great.
